It’s puppy love! Father-of-two posts adorable video of what it’s like to live in a house full of SIXTEEN excitable young dogs
Ever wondered what it would be like to live in a house full of puppies?
One man lives this scenario every day and has taken to YouTube to share the enviable experience.
Dog breeder, Dag Christer Lie, from Grua, Norway, has uploaded a video which sees 16 energetic Basenji pups from three different litters bounding around his house.
The clip, titled 16 puppies, has already racked up over 370,000 views and sees Dag’s family often immersed in the sea of canines.
The owners of Kennel Kingwanas, Dag and wife Liv reside with their two young sons in a Norwegian village.
At the beginning of the clip, one of their sons is seen spinning playfully on his hands and knees around their wooden kitchen floor.
A small number of the puppies follow from behind, wagging their tails and crawling in between his hands and legs.
The clip then cuts to the same young boy lying face down on the floor with the adventurous canines climbing on his back and curiously nudging him.
Another section of the video just sees them chaotically playing amongst each other, while clumsily bumping into fellow puppies and the furniture.
At one point, wife Liv is also seen lying face down on the floor, at which point her body almost disappears underneath the large number of wriggling puppies – who all take it in turns cleaning her face.
Husband Dag then attempts the same manoeuvre, but finds himself unable to lie his body flat due to the sheer volume of excited puppies underneath his chest.
Dag and wife Liv breed Basenjis, a form of hunting dog, originated from central Africa, and also own two adult Basenjis named Jippi and Jubel.
Looking back on his time with the excitable puppies, Dag said: ‘They were – and still are – adorable.
‘All are in lovely caring homes. About 6 months old now. And yes, to those who commented about poop. They were quite talented poop producers.
‘I think one of the most time-consuming things I did in this period was walk around with bucket, water, cloth and toilet paper.’
