Man K.illed & Dismembered At Least A Dozen Cats He Got For Free On Craigslist

20-year-old Kaine Louzader, of St. Peters, Missouri, has been charged with two felony charges of animal a.buse after he k.illed and dismembered at least a dozen cats and kittens that he found in online ads.
The situation first came to light when someone contacted authorities after they witnessed Louzader dump a dead cat near his home. Dead cats had also been turning up on or near his street since January.

Louzader admitted to St. Charles County police that he would search Craigslist ads for free cats to k.ill. After bringing the cats home, he would stomp on their heads or strangle them before dismembering them and dumping whatever was left of their bodies.
Louzader also had scratches on his arms, which he later admitted was from the last cat he k.illed.
Louzader is being held in jail on a $50,000 bond, and prosecutors say that more charges are expected.

This awful incident should remind people that there are better ways to rehome or sell unwanted pets than to post them online at places like Craigslist. Local animal shelters will help people find the best possible home for their pets, regardless of the circumstance.
Monsters like this man also pray on animals that are listed as “free.” If you must rehome online, putting a hefty rehoming fee will help deter these kind of people from getting their hands on innocent animals.
