For whatever reason, if you cannot take care of your pet, you properly surrender him to a no-kill shelter or find that pet a proper new home. Yet we see acts like this one time and time again and it’s straight up sickening.
In the surveillance video of Seguin Animal Services Shelter in Texas, we see two men do the unthinkable. They pull up beside the shelter at 11 pm. Then, they look to see if any witnesses are around. Once the “coast is clear,” they go to the back of their SUV, open the hatch, and bring out an unsuspecting pup who has no idea what is going on.

Instead of waiting for the shelter to open like decent human beings or choosing an even better alternative, they hurl the frightened dog over the 6-foot fence. They struggle to get him over in this uncomfortable and cruel scenario — and have ZERO remorse about their behavior.
You can see the dog cling to the top. The expression on his face is of pure terror!

Once the dog is up and over the fence, he steadies himself and tries to run back to the cruel men. But he’s trapped. Then the two men drive away without a second thought.
This action is illegal and was likely done to avoid surrender fees. The Seguin Police posted this to their Facebook page:
“If you have information about these men, contact the Seguin Police Department at (830)379-2123. The Seguin Animal Services does accept owner surrender animals but there is a process to do so. Seguin Animal Services is open Monday – Friday 9 am- 5pm or Saturday from 9:30 am until 12 noon. You are required to reside in the city to owner surrender and there are fees associated with it.”

The surveillance video can be seen below. Please share this story so we can put an end to the case and have these heartless men brought to justice! We hope bringing awareness to this cruel act will also find the dog a proper forever home.
