Glen is a 7-month-old German Shepherd pup living in the high-k.ill Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California. Of late, Glen has been reeling in depression after a string of rejections from families, and has confined himself to a sad and lonely corner in the shelter.

Months ago, When Glen was just a tiny puppy, he was filled with a spark for life. He would greet every stranger with cuddles, hugs and kisses. But as all of Glen’s friends got adopted one by one, he was left behind staring at the empty shelter walls in the aftermath of his rejections.
Glen hasn’t taken his lonely existence well. He is well aware of what happens to unwanted dogs like him in the euthanasia room at the back of the shelter. The dogs that go in there never come back. Now, it seems as if he has accepted his fate, so he doesn’t even bother to greet the visitors who come to see him.
