A public works employee from Woodbridge, Connecticut came upon a very disturbing discovery deep in the woods. A beautiful female Pit Bull type dog was hidden deep in a spot where it would be unlikely to find her. Sadly, the animal could not fend for herself as the c.ruel person who abandoned her kept her locked in a wire kennel.
“I wish this story had a happy ending,” Woodbridge Municipal Animal Control shared on Facebook. “With so many options available you chose to leave her abandoned and alone at the bottom of a ditch in her crate. What were her chances of being found healthy and alive?”

The graphic images posted are of the d.ead dog, but animal control hopes sharing these pictures may help find who did this.
Sadly, the pup was likely alive when she was dumped. Authorities are outraged that someone would do this to a living, breathing animal.
