It’s good to have back-up sometimes. You could be out minding your own business, enjoying your day and things can go wrong extremely quickly out of nowhere. In times like this, having someone nearby watching your back can pay off in dividends.
This was exactly the case with one particularly friendly puppy in the video we have for you today. Shared to YouTube by the DailyPicksandFlicks channel, it shows the happy little pup wandering around an outdoor patio area. A cat is seated nearby on the table, watching the dog.
The puppy wanders over to a nearby ledge where another orange cat is perched. The dog hops up on the ledge, trying to say hello to the kitty. Bad idea.
The cat turns around and hisses at the puppy. Giving more than just a warning, the cat then lunges at the dog, claws extended!
The cat that’s been watching from atop the table has seen enough. She springs into action, coming to defend the puppy. She jumps down from the table and rushes the orange cat, firing away with claws of her own. The pair tumble to the ground, out of sight of the video recorder.
The friendly puppy was lucky on this day. The dog learned just how quick things can go sideways, and the value of having someone to watch your back all in a matter of seconds. Check out the entire clip below.
