Tervel is a 14-year-old Chocolate Labrador. This adorable old dog is also blind and partially deaf. Apparently, he was thrown against walls when he was a puppy. This abuse led to his blindness. How heartbreaking!
Although his current owner adopted him in order to give him a peaceful life, Tervel had given up on moving around as he would constantly bump into things, and it was beginning to hurt due to his old age.

But Tervel had no idea fate had something else in store for him. Fate handed him a guardian angel in the most unlikeliest of forms – a stray cat!
Meet Pudditat, a stray cat that Tervel’s owners adopted. Pudditat didn’t get along with any other cat and would always bully them. But something changed in Pudditat the moment he met Tervel.
It’s almost as if Pudditat immediately knew Tervel was blind, and struck an unusual friendship with him. Their bond grew stronger with each passing day, as the two would cuddle up and relax in each other’s company.

But Pudditat took things one step further and chose to become Tervel’s seeing-eye cat. Tervel fully trusts Pudditat, and with his guidance, Tervel is now able to move around and even go for walks outside. Truly a great example of friendship beyond differences!
